  • Participate in hands-on training and knowledge sharing to support continuous improvement within the engineering team.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in programming and configuring control systems, including PLC-based architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of control systems engineering principles and their application in process manufacturing or building automation environments.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting automation, mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues.
  • Experience working with human-machine interfaces (HMI) for monitoring and operating control systems.
  • Ability to execute commissioning and validation protocols and address non-conformances in a structured and timely manner.
  • Capability to work effectively in a team environment with internal engineers and client stakeholders.
  • Willingness and ability to travel full time and work on-site at project locations for 3 to 6 months at a time.
  • Flexible schedule and ability to work extended hours (such as 6 days at 10 hours per day or 5 days at 10 hours per day).

  • Background or interest in building automation and process manufacturing environments.
  • Comfort working with both mechanical and electrical equipment in an industrial setting.
  • Interest in leadership opportunities and the ability to grow into roles with increased responsibility.
  • Motivation to gain exposure to different industries and technologies through frequent travel.
  • Openness to hands-on training and continuous professional development.

Work Environment This is an on-site, field-based role with extensive travel to project locations, primarily in Texas. You work directly within industrial and process manufacturing facilities, often supporting building automation and advanced control systems. The schedule typically consists of either six 10-hour days (6x10s) or five 10-hour days (5x10s) per week, depending on project needs.
