Pay: $20.00 per hour
Kwik Stop is looking for a hardworking, dependable, responsible, and motivated Bilingual Store Associate to join our team.
Applicants must be able to communicate fluently and professionally in both English and Spanish.
This is not a register-only position. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, stays productive, learns quickly, and is willing to help wherever needed to keep the store clean, organized, stocked, and operating properly.
The right person will be trained on more than cashier duties. You will also learn inventory management, receiving merchandise, stocking, merchandising, monitoring inventory levels, and preparing product orders for the store.
We are looking for someone who wants to become a trusted and important member of our team.

- Clean counters, floors, equipment, food areas, coffee stations, and other areas as needed
- Take out garbage and complete daily cleaning responsibilities

- Complete assigned opening, closing, and shift responsibilities
- Assist coworkers whenever needed
- Stay productive during slower periods without needing to be constantly supervised
What We're Looking For
Strong work ethic is extremely important for this position.
We want someone who:
- Is hardworking and self-motivated
- Shows up on time and ready to work
- Is dependable and takes their work schedule seriously
- Speaks English and Spanish at a strong conversational/professional level
- Can comfortably communicate with customers, coworkers, management, and vendors in either language
- Learns quickly and is willing to take on new responsibilities
- Takes initiative without waiting for a manager to tell them every task
- Notices when something needs to be cleaned, stocked, or organized and handles it
- Stays productive even when business is slow
- Is honest and responsible when handling money and merchandise
- Is organized and pays attention to detail
- Is willing to clean and perform physical store duties
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Is interested in learning inventory management and product ordering
- Takes pride in keeping the store clean, organized, and professional
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
- Must be able to speak and understand both languages confidently
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Comfortable handling cash and operating a POS system
- Comfortable performing cleaning and stocking duties
- Able to lift and move merchandise required for normal stocking duties
- Able to stand and remain active for extended periods
- Willing and able to learn inventory management and ordering procedures
- Previous convenience store, retail, grocery, restaurant, inventory, or customer-service experience is preferred
Compensation
$20.00 per hour
We offer strong pay because we are looking for employees who are willing to take responsibility and contribute to the entire store, not simply operate a cash register.
Employees who demonstrate reliability, leadership, strong work ethic, and the ability to learn inventory and store operations may have opportunities to take on greater responsibilities within Kwik Stop.
Who Will Do Well Here?
You will likely be a great fit if you are the type of person who sees an empty shelf and restocks it, sees something dirty and cleans it, notices inventory getting low and reports it, helps a coworker without being asked, and looks for what needs to be done instead of waiting to be told.
If you are dependable, hardworking, bilingual, willing to learn, and interested in becoming more than just a cashier, we would like to hear from you.
Please apply with your current availability and previous work experience.
Kwik Stop is an equal opportunity employer.
