Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs, ensuring a positive experience.
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing.
• Conduct product demos to highlight new or featured items, encouraging upselling to boost sales.
• Restock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure the store is clean, appealing, and well-maintained.
• Manage inventory by stocking products efficiently and monitoring stock levels to prevent shortages.
• Provide excellent phone etiquette when taking orders or answering customer inquiries.
• Assist with merchandising displays to attract customer attention and promote sales initiatives.

Requirements

• Previous retail or grocery store experience is preferred, especially in cashiering or customer service roles.
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for accurate cash handling and sales calculations.
• Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases.
• Supervising experience is advantageous for leadership opportunities or team support roles.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads while maintaining safety standards.
• Demonstrated ability to upsell products through friendly engagement and product knowledge.
