Convenient Store Supervisor

About the role

Philippine InfraDev Holdings Inc. is seeking a Convenient Store Supervisor to join our retail operations team in Binangonan, Rizal. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth, efficient and profitable operation of our convenience store. As Convenient Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading the store team, maintaining high standards of customer service, and driving sales performance whilst ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. This position is instrumental in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers and fostering a motivated, productive team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations including opening and closing procedures, cash handling and reconciliation
• Supervise, train and motivate store staff, ensuring they maintain high standards of customer service and performance
• Monitor inventory levels, manage stock rotation and coordinate with suppliers to ensure product availability
• Maintain store cleanliness, visual merchandising standards and compliance with health and safety regulations
• Process transactions, handle customer enquiries and resolve complaints professionally and promptly
• Implement and monitor promotional activities and pricing strategies to maximize sales and profitability
• Ensure compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures and local regulations
• Report on store performance metrics, including sales, customer feedback and operational issues
• Conduct regular staff meetings and provide ongoing coaching to enhance team performance

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in retail store supervision or a similar management role within the convenience store or retail sector
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively
• Excellent customer service orientation with a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences
• Proficiency in point-of-sale systems and inventory management software
• Sound understanding of retail operations, including stock management, merchandising and loss prevention
• Ability to analyze sales data and key performance indicators to drive business results
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively
• Attention to detail and organizational capabilities to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Knowledge of health, safety and food hygiene standards in retail environments
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends as required
• High school diploma or equivalent; further retail or business qualifications are preferred
