Conversational AI Architect

Target senior software, solution, cloud, or platform architects with at least five years in an IT discipline and at least five years translating business capabilities into technical requirements. Look for evidence of ownership of complex distributed-system architecture, GCP/cloud-native solutions, platform performance and reliability, technical design decisions, and engineering mentorship. Stronger candidates will have hands-on conversational AI, Dialogflow/GECX/AI Agent, IVA/IVR, or Genesys integration experience. A developer focused only on feature implementation, a project manager without architecture ownership, or a business analyst without technical design responsibility may not be an appropriate match. The bachelor’s degree is required; certifications are preferred.Must-Have Qualifications

Must Have

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline.
• 5+ years in software engineering, system architecture, cloud infrastructure, or another IT discipline.
• 5+ years partnering with business functions to convert capabilities into technical requirements.
• Ability to design complex, scalable distributed/cloud-native architectures and make technical trade-offs.
• Working knowledge of the specified Chat Platform technical stack and engineering practices, including GCP, TypeScript/Node.js, integrations, CI/CD, and observability.
• Ability to lead technical problem resolution and guide or mentor engineers.

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Hands-on Dialogflow, GECX, AI Agents, or IVA Voice architecture.
• Genesys/contact center integration experience.
• Health insurance or regulated-industry experience.
• Master’s degree or Google Cloud Architect, SCEA, Project Management, or Agile certification.
