We are currently recruiting for a Conveyancer who will be based in our new Porth office, although may be required to cover at other offices. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and driven residential conveyancer to join our expanding team. You will assist in promoting and growing our Porth office, specifically property transactions.

GGP Law is proud to be both a Lexcel and Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) accredited firm. We are looking for a candidate who will help maintain and grow our excellent reputation for client care and expertise.

Becoming part of a well-established and expanding practice, the successful applicant will manage a full and varied caseload of property transactions. Depending on experience levels, the ideal person will handle such matters as Transfers of Equity; sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold properties; New Builds; Shared Ownership and Auction sales;

A hands-on role suited to a confident Conveyancer seeking to further develop their expertise in a thriving firm. A knowledge of commercial conveyancing and/or other areas of non-contentious work such as Wills, Probate, Lasting Powers of Attorney etc., would be an advantage although not essential.

The ideal candidate will be friendly, a good organiser, great communicator, approachable and a team player.

· You must be a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, Licensed Conveyancer, or experienced Paralegal Fee Earner.

· Applications are welcomed from Conveyancers with all levels of experience from 2 years to senior level.

· You must have excellent technical skills with expertise across all residential property transactions.

· You will:

o be IT literate with experience in the use of Word, Excel and Outlook being essential.

o be a team player with a client-focused approach.

o be motivated and able to manage a demanding caseload with minimal supervision.

o prepare documents and manage files following the detailed procedures of the firm, maintaining the firm’s standards for client care, compliance and confidentiality always.

o be client always focused and keep the departmental diary up to date.
