CONVEYANCING CLERK

GENERAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the preparation and processing of conveyancing documents and legal files.
• Handle and maintain physical and electronic files systematically.
• Assist with SPA, bank loan, LPPSA, transfer, stamping and registration matters.
• Liaise with clients, banks, government authorities and other relevant parties.
• Follow up on outstanding documents, signatures, payments, submissions and approvals.
• Monitor file progress, deadlines and TAT to ensure timely completion.
• Upda file status, WTD and relevant information in the firm's system.
• Ensure documents and file information are accurate, complete and properly recorded.
• Assist in Land Office, LHDN, LPPSA and other relevant submissions.
• Prepare payment requests and maintain records of receipts and supporting documents where required.
• Escalate urgent, overdue or problematic matters to the HOD / supervising lawyer.
• Ensure completed files are properly checked, closed and archived.
• Maintain confidentiality of client and Firm information.
• Comply with all Firm policies, SOPs, procedures and instructions.
• Provide administrative and operational support to the Conveyancing Department.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the HOD or Management from time to time.
