Conveyor Belt Scraper Technicians

MINELINE MAINTENANCE SERVICES (MMS) is seeking experienced and motivated Scraper Technicians to join our growing team. We offer a range of FIFO rosters and shutdown opportunities across various coastal and inland locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance, repairs, and inspections of conveyor belt systems and components, including:

  • Belt Cleaner Scrapers, roller frames, skirting systems, belt cleaning systems, belt tracking units, transfer chutes, and conveyor structures.

• Inspect and adjust primary and secondary cleaners, ploughs, and water control units.

• Conduct conveyor safety and operational inspections.

• Adhere to and promote workplace health and safety standards.

About You:

• Experience: Mining or conveyor system maintenance experience is preferred, with scraper-specific experience an advantage (training provided for the right candidate).

• Tickets & Licenses:

  • Essential: Working at Heights, Confined Space, Gas Test Atmosphere.
  • Desirable: Forklift, EWP, dogging, rigging, or other High Risk Work Licenses.

• Additional Requirements:

  • Must be able to complete a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a valid National Police Clearance.

• Skills: Strong communication, self-motivation, and a proactive work ethic.

• Attitude: Commitment to safety, team-oriented, and eager to learn and grow.
