We do not offer FIFO, position is based in Epping with travel to customer sites.

About the Role:

As an experienced Conveyor Belt Technician / Splicer and a leading team member on site, you will offer a broad skillset with the ability to splice, repair, maintain and install a range of rubber conveyors. You will be able to work well in a small team environment whilst ensuring to uphold our high customer service standards. Wages are negotiable depending on experience. Overtime & weekend work is essential, travel will be required dependent on job.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take a proactive and enthusiastic approach to deliver conveyor belting/rubber lining services to our valued clients.
• Deliver quality work in timely manner.
• Provide maintenance, belt repairs in house and on site, belt installation, technical advice, cutting and preparing conveyor belts for site installation, rubber lining and high-level problem solving.
• Execute and deliver all work safely and to a high professional standard
• Liaise with colleagues, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner.

To be successful:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Have a strong work ethic with a desire to work in a team environment
• Strong focus on safety and site safety rules
• A valid HRW LF & SL Licence
• Basic Rigging and Dogging Tickets
• Be available for afterhours callouts – paid at the appropriate penalty rates.
