About the Role

You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, inspection and optimisation of conveyor scraper systems and associated conveyor components across a variety of customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and service conveyor scrapers, ploughs and mechanical conveyor components
• Conduct inspections and identify improvement opportunities
• Troubleshoot and rectify equipment issues
• Read and interpret drawings and technical documentation
• Safely operate hand and power tools
• Maintain high housekeeping and safety standards
• Build positive working relationships with customers and team members

What We're Looking For

Essential

• Previous experience working on conveyor systems, scraper systems or mechanical plant maintenance
• Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills
• Current Driver's Licence
• Ability to pass site medicals and inductions
• Strong commitment to safety
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Willingness to travel and work away when required

Highly Regarded

• Flexco scraper installation experience
• Welding and fabrication experience
• Experience in mining, ports, quarrying, bulk materials handling or heavy industrial environments
