COO

Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Chief Operating Officer (COO) at DS Seguros Armação de Pêra. The COO will oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring that processes, systems, and teams function effectively and align with the company’s strategic objectives. Responsibilities include developing and implementing operational plans, coordinating with department leaders, and monitoring performance metrics to drive efficiency and service quality. The role involves collaborating with senior leadership on long-term business planning, managing budgets and financial performance, and identifying opportunities for improvement and growth. The COO will also lead change initiatives, promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations.

• Candidates should possess strong Business Planning skills to support strategic development and long-term growth.
• Candidates should possess Operations Management expertise to oversee daily activities, optimize processes, and manage cross-functional teams.
• Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to interpret data, evaluate performance, and inform decision-making.
• Candidates should possess Finance and Budgeting skills to manage financial resources, control costs, and support profitability.
• Candidates should have proven leadership capabilities, including team management, stakeholder communication, and decision-making under pressure.
• Candidates should demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
• Candidates should have prior experience in senior operations or executive roles, preferably within insurance or financial services.
• Candidates should hold a relevant academic background, such as a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management, or a related field; an MBA or similar advanced qualification is an advantage.
