Cook Asian /Baker

Core Responsibilities

• Dough and Batter Preparation: Measure, mix, knead, shape, and proof doughs and batters for Asian-style breads, pastries, and confectionery items.
• Fillings and Toppings: Prepare signature Asian fillings such as red bean paste, custard, taro, matcha, pork floss, or savory elements.
• Baking and Monitoring: Operate commercial ovens, proofers, and mixers, adjusting temperatures and bake times for consistent texture and quality.
• Plating and Presentation: Glaze, garnish, and display baked items neatly for retail storefront or restaurant service.
• Kitchen Hygiene and Safety: Maintain clean workstations, sanitize baking equipment, and follow local food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Inventory Management: Check raw material stock levels, receive deliveries, and report ingredient requisitions.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 1 to 3 years of commercial baking, pastry, or kitchen experience (specialized experience in Asian bakery items is preferred).
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; formal training or certification from a culinary/baking school is an advantage.
• Certifications: Valid local Food Handler Certification or food safety training.
• Key Skills:
• Knowledge of Asian baking techniques and recipe scaling.
• Precision in weighing ingredients and basic math skills.
• Ability to work early morning shifts and stand or lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) for long

Pay: Php30,000.00 - Php37,000.00 per month
