We are currently seeking a dependable, experienced Part-Time Cook to join our assisted living community. This is an excellent opportunity for restaurant cooks looking for a more relaxed, rewarding cooking environment while still preparing delicious, home-style meals from scratch.

Schedule

• Every Wednesday: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend
• Rotating holidays
• Guaranteed schedule: 16 hours per pay period
• Additional hours available: Earn an extra 8 hours per pay period by choosing to work every weekend!

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve delicious, nutritious meals for approximately 20 residents.
• Follow established menus, recipes, and residents’ dietary requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures.
• Work cooperatively with kitchen and care staff to create a positive dining experience for residents.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous cooking experience required; scratch cooking experience preferred.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to food quality and safety.
• Positive, dependable, team-oriented attitude.
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check.
