Cook (Based in Tuas)

Job Responsibilities:

• Support the daily kitchen operations and assist the Sous Chef in executing production plans.
• Prepare and cook food according to company standards and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, consistency, and compliance with food safety requirements.
• Record production details, including cooked food weights and delivery orders (DOs).
• Supervise and guide Catering Assistants when required.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen, storage areas, and chiller rooms.
• Practice proper personal hygiene and safe food handling procedures at all times.
• Ensure the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) system is consistently followed.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve operational goals.
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and complete them accurately and on time.
• Ensure all food products meet the company's quality and presentation standards.
• Perform any others adhoc duties assigned by Supervisor/management.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of cooking experience in the F&B industry or food manufacturing environment.
• WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1 certification is preferred.
• Familiar with Asian, Western, and Local cuisines.
• Able to work on rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
• Strong team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
