Cook / Center Support

Job Overview

We are looking for a friendly face to cook and feed our students breakfast, lunch, snack, and dinner. Our cook is responsible for overall food preparation, food inventory, cleaning & sanitizing, and additional center support when needed. Must be willing to abide by all health and safety guidelines mandated by the State of GA.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals/snacks for children and staff while abiding by health and nutrition guidelines.
• Maintain inventory of food and kitchen supplies.
• Follow the provided daily menu.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
• Classroom Assistance as needed.

Qualifications

• Work experience in cooking and/or food preparation for multiple individuals, preferably in a childcare setting.
• A High school Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• An understanding of all current and local regulations.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
