Job Overview

We are looking for a dependable, team-oriented cook who is passionate about preparing high-quality food in a fast-paced kitchen. The ideal candidate follows recipes and instructions, works efficiently, maintains high food safety standards, and is eager to learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Assist with menu development and new dish creation as needed.
• Set up and stock workstations with necessary ingredients and supplies.
• Prepare ingredients, including chopping vegetables and making sauces.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and sanitary kitchen.
• Monitor inventory, restock supplies, and report shortages.
• Ensure food is prepared accurately, consistently, and on time.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team and follow instructions.
• Help maintain an efficient kitchen workflow.
• Assist with closing duties, cleaning stations, and storing leftover food properly.
• Support kitchen operations and oversee the team when applicable.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a cook, line cook, sous chef, or similar back-of-house role preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable, adaptable, and able to work scheduled shifts.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Leadership and delegation skills are a plus.
• Commitment to quality, consistency, and excellent customer service.

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
