Job Title: Cook (Back of House)

Location: Martin City Brewing Company - Crossroads - New Opening 
Reports To: Kitchen Manager / Chef / General Manager
Schedule: Part‑time or Full‑time; days, nights, weekends, and holidays required

Key Responsibilities

Food Preparation & Execution

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, specs, and plating standards
• Execute food orders accurately and efficiently during service
• Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies
• Ensure proper food temperatures, timing, and presentation
• Follow all ticket times and communication standards during service

Kitchen Operations

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation
• Assist with prep work including chopping, portioning, and sauce production
• Communicate clearly with other BOH and FOH team members
• Support other stations as needed during peak service
• Assist with opening and closing duties

Food Safety & Sanitation

• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Properly label, date, rotate, and store food products
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment, surfaces, and storage areas
• Report any safety, quality, or equipment issues to leadership immediately

Team & Culture

• Work collaboratively with kitchen and FOH teams
• Take direction from kitchen leadership and accept feedback constructively
• Show pride in work and accountability for station performance

• Previous kitchen or cooking experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
• Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
• Willingness to learn multiple stations and menu items
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
