Duties

• Assist with meal preparation, ensuring adherence to recipes and dietary guidelines
• Prepare food items using proper techniques, including slicing, chopping, cooking, and plating
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support daily food production needs
• Maintain cleanliness of all work areas by following strict cleaning protocols and sanitation standards
• Handle food safely by practicing proper food handling procedures and safety standards in production

Requirements

• Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly preferred
• Strong background in food service, restaurant, or culinary environments with knowledge of food industry practices
• Skilled in food preparation techniques such as slicing, cooking, and recipe adherence
• Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Knowledge of food safety management protocols and safety standards in production environments
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with kitchen staff and team members
• Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food handling at all times
