Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cook to join our team, you will oversee daily kitchen operations, prepare high-quality dishes and ensure strict adherence to food safety standards. The ideal candidate blends exceptional cooking skills with strong leadership to maintain kitchen efficiency and mentor staff.

Job tasks are:

• Food Preparation: Prepare, cook, and season a diverse menu of high-quality dishes.

• Planting and Presentation: Portion food accurately and apply gravies, sauces and garnishes professionally.

• Quality Control: Examine all incoming ingredients and final dishes to ensure premium quality.

• Equipment Management: Regulate and monitor temperatures of ovens, grills, and cooking equipment.

• Food Safety: Store all food products in temperature-controlled facilities following health regulations.

• Dietary Adaptation: Modify recipes seamlessly to accommodate vegetarian, vegan. gluten-free, or specific allergen requests or specific dietary requirements.

• Kitchen Operations: Plan menus and accurately estimate inventory and food requirements.

• Staff Mentorship: Train, guide, and supervise the kitchen staff and apprentices.

Requirements and qualifications:

Working on weekends and being available on calls are required for this position.

You should have 2-3 years of relevant experience or relevent qualification (level 4 or higher).

All suitable candidates should be able to pass a drug test and ministry of justice check when required.

Offered wages: $30-$35 per hour based on experience.

Employment type: Full time.

Hours of work: 30 - 50 hours per week.

Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
