What You’ll Be Doing

As our Cook, you’ll take charge of the kitchen and ensure that every meal is prepared with care and attention. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and serving daily meals based on established menus and recipes.
• Accommodating residents’ dietary needs and special meal requests.
• Following food safety, sanitation, and infection-control practices.
• Keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Properly storing, labeling, and monitoring food inventory.
• Minimizing food waste and notifying management of supply needs.
• Ensuring meals are prepared and served on schedule.
• Collaborating with other staff members to provide excellent resident care.
• Performing other kitchen-related duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who is dependable, caring, and ready to bring their culinary skills to our team. To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Experience in healthcare, assisted living, or institutional food service (a plus but not required).
• Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices.
• A reliable and independent work ethic.
• The ability to work well with older adults and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen supplies as needed.
