Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate Cook who is committed to excellence and has a flair for preparing and serving high-quality meals. As a Cook at Nexus of Columbia, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of meals and snacks, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, and collaborating with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals and snacks to ensure high-quality presentation and taste
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety standards
• Manage inventory and supply of ingredients and equipment
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service
• Maintain accurate records of food preparation and inventory
• Develop and implement new recipes and menu items to enhance the dining experience

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience (entry-level welcome!)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new recipes and cooking techniques
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
