| Martin City Pizza and Taproom is seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. In this role, you will prepare ingredients and assemble dishes for our signature pizzas, sandwiches, and salads. Your contributions will ensure that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently, delivering high-quality meals to our guests. Key Responsibilities: - Ingredient Preparation: Wash, chop, slice, and prepare vegetables, meats, and other ingredients for pizzas, sandwiches, and salads. - Dough and Sauce Preparation: Assist in preparing pizza dough and sauces according to our recipes and quality standards. - Assembly and Presentation: Assemble pizzas, sandwiches, and salads with attention to detail and presentation. - Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. - Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory levels and restocking supplies as needed. - Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service during busy periods. |
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation role is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- A passion for food and a desire to learn and grow in the culinary field.
