Description:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Assist with food preparation for daily dining service, banquets, private events, and club functions.
• Maintain consistent portion sizes, quality, flavor, and presentation.
• Set up and stock food preparation stations before service.
• Monitor food levels and communicate inventory needs to the Chef or kitchen manager.
• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and temperature-control procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and work area.
• Properly store, label, and rotate food products using FIFO procedures.
• Assist with receiving and putting away food and kitchen supplies as needed.
• Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Follow all club policies, health department regulations, and safety procedures.
• Assist other kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth food service operation

Requirements:

• Previous cooking or food-service experience preferred.
• Culinary training or relevant kitchen experience is a plus.
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
• Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen supplies as required.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by club events and operations.
