About the role

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cook to join our Client Restoran. This is a full-time position based in Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals that reflect our commitment to excellence and authentic cuisine, working collaboratively within a dynamic kitchen environment.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and cooking meals according to established recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards
• Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness at all times
• Managing inventory of ingredients and reporting stock levels to kitchen management
• Coordinating with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service
• Following dietary requirements and special requests from guests with accuracy and care
• Contributing to menu planning and suggesting innovative dishes that align with our culinary vision
• Operating kitchen equipment safely and maintaining it in good working condition
• Assisting with food preparation tasks including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
• Supporting the kitchen team during peak service periods to maintain quality and efficiency

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working as a Cook in a professional kitchen environment
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen safety practices
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining high standards of quality
• Excellent attention to detail and understanding of portion control and food presentation
• Flexibility and willingness to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a collaborative team
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift items up to 25kg
• Knowledge of local or international cuisines is advantageous
• Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are preferred
