Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with attention to quality, presentation, and consistency
• Follow established recipes, portion controls, and food safety standards diligently
• Assist in meal preparation during busy service hours to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils
• Monitor inventory levels, report shortages, and assist in receiving deliveries when needed
• Ensure all food handling practices comply with health regulations and safety protocols
• Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent service and support a positive kitchen environment

Experience

• Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or similar setting
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
• Hands-on kitchen experience with a variety of cooking techniques and equipment
• Familiarity with meal preparation processes from start to finish
• Previous cafe experience preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
• Serving experience is a plus, demonstrating excellent customer service skills
