Cook — The Channel Wine Bar, Liverpool

The Channel is a wine bar and restaurant on Main Street in Liverpool, Nova Scotia.

We're looking for a Cook to join our kitchen.

This is a hands-on role. You will part of the day-to-day of the kitchen and contribute to the food side of the business. You'll cook alongside a small, capable team, assist in preparing the menu across breakfast, lunch, and dinner, hold the quality steady, and help us keep getting better.

What we're looking for

• Someone who can perform in a small kitchen and bring the best out of the people in it
• Solid cooking experience and steady hands when it's busy
• Pride in fresh, seasonal, well-made food
• Care for the small things: consistency, cleanliness, and every plate that leaves the pass
• Someone who wants to be part of a place, not just work a shift

• Full-time, year-round
• Hourly rate
• Start date September 10 or shortly thereafter
