Cook

Manchester Tavern is looking for a dependable, hard working cook to join our team. This position will start part time with the potential for additional hours.

Our kitchen is fast paced, especially during evenings and weekends. Cooks typically run the kitchen independently or alongside one other person, so we’re looking for someone who can stay organized, multitask, and keep up during busy rushes.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing and cooking menu items accurately and efficiently
• Managing multiple orders at once during busy periods
• Keeping the kitchen and work areas clean and organized
• Following food safety and sanitation procedures
• Restocking and completing basic kitchen prep
• Working independently and communicating well with bartenders and other staff

What we’re looking for:

• Dependable and able to show up on time for scheduled shifts
• Comfortable working in a very fast-paced environment
• Strong multitasking and time-management skills
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Evening and weekend availability
• Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is highly preferred, but not required for the right person
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team

Schedule: Part-time to start, with the potential for more hours. This position is heavily focused on evening and weekend shifts.

If you’re reliable, can handle a rush, and aren’t afraid to stay busy, we’d love to hear from you.
