Job Summary:
A Cook is responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting food items according to established recipes and quality standards. This role ensures that meals are prepared efficiently, safely, and consistently while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and portion standards
• Ensure food is cooked and presented in a timely and visually appealing manner
• Monitor food quality, freshness, and taste before serving
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils
• Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations
• Assist with inventory, stocking, and proper food storage
• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and communicate effectively with team members
• Handle kitchen equipment safely, including ovens, grills, fryers, and knives
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout shifts

Requirements:

• Previous cooking experience preferred
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and consistency
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
