Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Cook to join our vibrant food service team! In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of fast-foods using deep fryers, grill, potato chipper etc.and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Your enthusiasm for food preparation and commitment to food safety will insure quality food being served to our customers . This position offers an exciting opportunity to learn new skills while working in a fast-paced, energetic setting that values teamwork and excellence.

Duties

• Prepare and cook a wide range of fast-foods.
• Follow established recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards to deliver exceptional meals.
• Ensure all food handling practices adhere to safety regulations and hygiene standards.
• Assist in food service operations by plating dishes efficiently and accurately for service.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Support team members during busy periods by providing assistance with food preparation and service.

Requirements

• Willing to train.
• Willing to travel.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures Is an asset.
• Familiarity with serving techniques, meal preparation, and kitchen equipment operation Is an asset.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Previous experience in the food service industry or restaurant is an asset.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
