Your culinary expertise will contribute to creating a welcoming environment for our guests and supporting the smooth operation of our child Care facility.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menu specifications
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, slicers, and other culinary tools
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the kitchen area, including food prep stations and cooking surfaces
• Assist with menu planning by following dietary guidelines and accommodating special dietary needs
• Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling procedures and safety regulations
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and delivery
• Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food and ensuring presentation quality

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations within a restaurant or food service environment Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and portion control
• Knowledge of food safety management practices and safety standards in production environments
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency in meal quality
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members
• Familiarity with operating various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Background in the food industry or culinary experience demonstrating versatility in meal preparation and food handling

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
