Join Our Kitchen Team at Hilton Garden Inn Knoxville Papermill

We’re looking for talented, experienced chefs and line cooks who take pride in creating great food and delivering exceptional guest experiences. At Hilton Garden Inn Knoxville Papermill, you’ll prepare dishes to brand standards, support breakfast and dinner service, and play a hands-on role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly and our guests coming back.

What You’ll Do

• Set up and stock stations with everything needed for smooth service
• Prep ingredients (chopping, butchering, sauces, and more) and cook from our à la carte menu
• Work closely with the Food & Beverage team and banquet staff to execute BEOs and special events
• Ensure every plate leaves the kitchen at the same time, at high quality, and on schedule
• Maintain clean, organized stations, walk-ins, and freezers; rotate product and put away deliveries
• Help create weekly specials that drive both guest satisfaction and profitability
• Follow all nutrition, sanitation, and safety standards while keeping the kitchen clean and efficient
• Show up ready to work—on time, in uniform, with a positive, professional attitude

What We’re Looking For

• At least 2 years of proven experience as a line cook, restaurant cook, or prep cook
• Strong knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and kitchen best practices
• Ability to work accurately and quickly under pressure
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for 6–8 hours
• A team-first mindset and commitment to quality and cleanliness
