COOK

Job Summary:

The Cook is responsible for the preparation, service, clean-up and storage of all meals, snacks, and food & beverage service for events. The Cook position at St John XXIII Pastoral Center, as a member of Diocesan Services, is committed to offering hospitality to our guests.

Assures the kitchen & dining room areas are clean and in good order.

Oversees and assists kitchen aides in the preparation, service and storage of food and cleanliness of the kitchen/dining areas.

Works a flexible schedule - normally 35 per week.

Prefer a minimum of one year experience in food service.

Qualifications

• Food preparation and cooking skills
• Previous experience in food service or restaurant industry
• Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
• Culinary experience and meal preparation abilities
