Cook – Plates & Pints | Grove City, OH

Plates & Pints is looking for an experienced, dependable cook to join our kitchen team! We’re a busy, locally owned restaurant in Grove City, and we’re looking for someone who knows their way around a kitchen, can handle a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in putting out great food.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and cook menu items according to Plates & Pints recipes and standards
• Work multiple stations during busy shifts, including grill, fryer, sauté and prep
• Consistently portion and plate food correctly and efficiently
• Keep up with a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining quality and accuracy
• Follow proper food safety, sanitation and cleaning procedures
• Keep your station stocked, organized and clean throughout your shift
• Communicate with the kitchen team to keep tickets moving and service running smoothly
• Complete prep and other kitchen duties as needed
• Help maintain a positive, team-oriented kitchen environment

What We’re Looking For

• Previous restaurant cooking experience preferred
• Strong understanding of basic cooking techniques and food safety
• Ability to work quickly and stay organized during busy shifts
• Reliable, hardworking and willing to be part of a team
• Good communication and a positive attitude
• Able to follow recipes and portion standards consistently
• Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods and lifting as needed
