Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for food preparation, cooking, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. This role requires a passion for creating delicious dishes, particularly with experience in Central American cuisine, and strong attention to cleanliness and safety standards. Fluency in Spanish is strongly recommended to facilitate communication within our team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, with an emphasis on Central American cuisine.
• Ensure all food is prepared according to recipes and quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by regularly cleaning workstations, utensils, and equipment.
• Follow food safety guidelines and proper sanitation procedures at all times.
• Assist in inventory management and ensure ingredients are stocked and stored properly.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and high-quality food delivery.
• Adhere to all safety regulations to create a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar culinary role.
• Knowledge of Central American food preparation and cooking techniques is highly preferred.
• Strong cleaning and sanitation skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills; fluency in Spanish is strongly recommended.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency in food quality.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
