Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menu specifications.
• Assist in the planning and execution of catering events, ensuring all dietary needs are met.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
• Ensure all food preparation meets safety and sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Utilize proper knife skills for food preparation tasks.
• Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
• Participate in menu development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant, catering service, or dietary department.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
• A passion for culinary arts and a desire to continually improve cooking skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
