Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated to join our team, bringing culinary expertise and a vibrant energy to our food service operations. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with meal preparation, food handling, and ensuring a high standard of food safety.

Working/driving a 20 ft food truck. Set menus, Working in my catering kitchen when not on the food truck. Hours vary each week, so flexibility is a must.

Duties

• Prepare and cook meals, following established recipes and food safety protocols
• Handle food with proper hygiene practices, including knife skills and food storage procedures
• Serve meals efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor
• Support catering events by preparing and presenting food items attractively
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area, including equipment sanitation and waste disposal

Experience

• Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable
• Hands-on experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings is preferred
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques is essential
• Culinary experience, including meal preparation and knife skills, is advantageous
• Familiarity with menu planning, catering, and serving in a food industry environment is beneficial
• Kitchen experience demonstrating proficiency in food industry practices will support success in this role
