Do you enjoy preparing great food and working in a fast-paced kitchen? Al's Restaurant is looking for a dependable, hardworking Cook to help deliver quality meals and an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

In this role, you'll prepare menu items according to established recipes, maintain a clean and organized kitchen, support food safety standards, and work alongside a team dedicated to quality and service. What You'll Do

Food Preparation

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Ensure food is prepared, plated, and served with consistency and attention to detail.
• Maintain high standards for food quality, freshness, and presentation.

Kitchen Operations

• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen.
• Monitor inventory and communicate product needs to management.
• Assist with receiving, storing, rotating, and organizing food products.
• Work efficiently to maintain timely food preparation during busy service periods.

Teamwork & Safety

• Work collaboratively with fellow kitchen team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Assist with additional kitchen duties as assigned.
• Demonstrate our Core Values in every aspect of your work.

What We're Looking For

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous cooking or commercial kitchen experience preferred.
• Food safety certification (ServSafe® or equivalent) preferred.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and food presentation.

• Dependable, organized, and able to multitask.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, lift, and work in a busy kitchen environment.
• Comfortable working around hot equipment and varying kitchen temperatures.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
