Job Overview

We are looking for reliable and hardworking Cooks to join our kitchen team. Cooks will be responsible for preparing food according to our menu and recipes while maintaining quality, consistency, and proper food safety standards.

The ideal candidate works well in a fast-paced kitchen, communicates well with the team, and takes pride in preparing good food. Previous restaurant cooking experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards
• Properly portion, prepare, and plate food
• Maintain consistent food quality and presentation
• Keep your workstation clean, organized, and properly stocked
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
• Safely operate grills, fryers, ovens, and other kitchen equipment
• Complete food preparation and prep work as needed
• Communicate with servers and other kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly and on time
• Monitor food levels and communicate when ingredients need to be restocked
• Help with opening, closing, cleaning, and general kitchen duties
• Work efficiently during busy breakfast, lunch, and dinner periods
• Follow restaurant procedures and help maintain a positive team environment

Experience Requirements

• Previous restaurant or kitchen experience preferred
• Experience working a grill, fryer, or flat-top is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen
• Basic food preparation and knife skills
• Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions
• Reliable and punctual
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Positive and professional attitude
• Willingness to learn and follow restaurant procedures

Pay: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
