We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an assisted living environment and possess a strong commitment to food safety and quality. This role requires following recipes accurately, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and ensuring proper food handling and portion control during meal preparation and service.

Responsibilities

• Meal preparation in accordance with standardized menu options

• Service of plated meals

• Create special menu requests as they arise

• Personal interaction with residents at every meal.

• Adapt meals as needed to suit special dietary needs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Cook, preferably in an assisted living or healthcare setting.

• ServSafe certification or equivalent food safety training.

• Ability to follow recipes and dietary instructions accurately.

• Strong knowledge of proper food safety and handling procedures.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to cleanliness.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.
