Eat N Run Chicken & Fish is seeking a reliable and hardworking Cook/Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to operate a POS system, prepare and cook food, provide excellent customer service, and maintain a clean work environment. This role requires someone who can work well under pressure, communicate effectively, and take pride in their work.

Key Responsibilities / Duties

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional customer service
• Take orders accurately and operate the POS/cash register
• Handle cash and card transactions responsibly
• Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to company standards
• Assist with food prep, seasoning, and meal assembly
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, cashier area, and dining space
• Complete daily cleaning tasks (sweeping, mopping, wiping surfaces)
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations
• Communicate clearly with team members during busy shifts
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Ensure order accuracy and customer satisfaction
• Opening the restuarant in the morning.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, cooking, or cashier roles preferred
• Must be able to operate a POS system
• Valid Food Handler/Food & Sanitation License required
• Reliable transportation to and from work is required
• Knowledge of food prep, cooking, and kitchen equipment
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask
• Honest, dependable, and punctual
• Attention to cleanliness and detail
