This position is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our dietary services, focusing on high-quality meal preparation and exceptional food service. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food industry, with ServSafe certification.

Duties

• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all food handling processes.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and service.
• Utilize knife skills for precise food preparation, ensuring quality presentation.
• Provide excellent customer service while serving meals to our residents.
• Ensure compliance with dietary department regulations and standards.

Skills

• Proven experience in the dietary department or as a dietary aide is preferred.
• Strong background in meal preparation techniques.
• Proficient in food preparation, cooking, and food handling practices.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices within the culinary field.
• Excellent knife skills for efficient meal preparation.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently within a kitchen while maintaining a positive attitude.
