Full Job description

Located conveniently between Spring Valley and Summerlin, Effin Egg is a Florida-based chain restaurant that specializes in the casual breakfast sandwich concept while adding a unique and delicious twist. We believe our customers deserve something better than a poor-quality fast-food breakfast sandwich. Our sandwiches and burritos use quality ingredients, made from scratch, freshly cooked, handcrafted, and served with love! We are passionate about the quality and consistency of our food, which is why we cook everything fresh and from scratch. Our sauces are made in-house, we use cage-free eggs served on our personally hand crafted brioche buns, and we roast our own signature coffee beans. Thus, we are looking to build a team of enthusiastic and friendly staff to deliver a “one of a kind” experience to our guests.

Overview:

To deliver an exceptional dining experience by maintaining a culture of outstanding service throughout the restaurant.

• Follows recipes and/or product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving and serving food items which may include soups, meats, vegetables, desserts and other food and beverage products.
• Tastes products, follow menus, estimate food requirements, check production and keep records to accurately plan production requirements and requisition supplies and equipment as needed.
• Cleans and sanitizes workstations and equipment.
• Practices excellent food safety and sanitation practices and comply with HACCP standards.
• Operates a variety of kitchen equipment, Measures and mixes ingredients, washes, peels, cuts and shreds fruits and vegetables.
• Stocks, dates, rotates, and checks temperature of product.
• Willing to cross train in front of house as cashier/barista

Overall Job Summary:

Effin Egg is looking for motivated, dependable, and hard-working kitchen staff to join our team. Experience is a plus, but we will train the right person.

Some Duties included, but are not limited to:

• Sets up back of house station and performs assigned side (prep) work.
• Must be comfortable prepping, cooking, cleaning, and restocking
• Must have a familiarity with eggs and the different ways to prepare them
• Will be working in a fast paced and high energy environment
• At times you will lift and carry at least 50 lbs
• Performs clean-up and closing duties as assigned by manager.
• Attend pre-shift meetings as requested
• Consistently follows local and state laws and the restaurant’s policies and procedures for the service of alcoholic beverages to members and guests.
• Be a team player
• Be willing to cross train in the front of house (cashier/Barista)

Requirements:

• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must be 18+
• Outgoing Personality
• Great People Skills
• Team Player
• Flexible work schedule
• Must have Current NV Health Card
• Able to lift and carry at least 50 lbs and stand/walk for 8 plus hours
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
• Previous experience is a plus
