Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve fresh, hygienic Kerala-style breakfast for hotel guests.
• Prepare daily meals for hotel staff according to the menu and requirements.
• Prepare traditional Kerala dishes, including puttu, appam, idiyappam, dosa, idli, and various curries.
• Ensure food is prepared on time and maintains consistent taste and quality.
• Wash and clean dishes, utensils, cooking equipment, and kitchenware after use.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, dining, and dishwashing areas.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of food ingredients.
• Minimize food wastage and use kitchen supplies efficiently.
• Coordinate with the kitchen team and management to meet daily food requirements.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Cook, preferably in Kerala cuisine.
• Good knowledge of Kerala breakfast items and traditional cooking methods.
• Ability to prepare staff meals efficiently.
• Willingness to handle dishwashing and general kitchen cleaning duties.
• Knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices.
• Ability to work early morning shifts and flexible working hours.
• Good teamwork, discipline, and a positive attitude.
