Flamingoz A Taste of Miami is looking for a skilled and motivated Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with fryers and plating popular menu items such as chicken wings, empanadas, fries, and other appetizers. Experience with grill (chicken, steak, salmon, shrimp) is also a plus. This is a great opportunity to grow with a fast-paced, energetic company that values creativity, teamwork, and quality.

Responsibilities:

• Operate fryers and prepare plated items accurately and efficiently
• Assemble dishes to company specifications with attention to presentation and portioning
• Maintain cleanliness of the line and kitchen area throughout the shift
• Assist with restocking ingredients, sauces, and other prep items as needed
• Ensure all items are fresh, labeled, and meet quality control standards
• Follow and uphold all food safety and sanitation protocols
• Stay informed on current menu items and assist in creating and executing specials
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to maintain a smooth and efficient service

Requirements:

• Proven experience working in a kitchen or line cook position (fryer experience preferred)
• Food handling and safety certification is a plus
• Strong attention to detail, multitasking ability, and sense of urgency
• Must be reliable, punctual, and maintain a positive attitude under pressure
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
• Must be able to follow recipes and kitchen procedures
