We're on the lookout for a reliable, hardworking, and kitchen-savvy individual to join our crew at The Spotted Cod. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values cleanliness and order, and takes pride in preparing great food for awesome people.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support daily food prep, including portioning, battering, frying, cutting, and plating with attention to detail
• Keep kitchen workspaces, equipment, and storage areas clean and organized throughout service
• Follow proper food safety, storage, and hygiene procedures at all times
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with the front-of-house team to maintain a smooth service flow
• Assist with daily open/close routines, restocking, and general kitchen upkeep

What We’re Looking For:

• Basic understanding of kitchen operations and prep methods — knife skills, safe fryer use, station setup, etc.
• Ability to stay focused and efficient in a high-pressure setting
• Reliable, on-time, and eager to be part of a close-knit team
• Prior kitchen experience is preferred, but if you’re teachable and committed, we’re happy to train you

Pay: $25.00 – $38.00 per hour
