Cook

We are looking for a Cook for our busy restaurant in Timaru. The cook will perform the below duties:

• Preparing and cooking menu items.
• Ensure the consistency in the preparation of all food items according to the establishment's recipe and standards.
• Estimating food cost and suggesting changes in the menu
• Consistently monitoring the quality of dishes at all the stages of preparation and presentation.
• Examining quality of food before it is delivered to the customer and ensuring that it meets with the standard of the restaurant.
• Regulating temperature of ovens, grills and other cooking equipments.
• Portioning food and presenting it on plates appropriately.
• Assist with the menu planning

You will be required to work for minimum of 30 hours per week

Pay: $26.00 – $30.00 per hour
