Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble meals according to established recipes, menus, and dietary guidelines
• Assist with menu planning to ensure variety, nutritional balance, and customer satisfaction
• Handle food with care, following proper food safety and sanitation procedures at all times
• Support food preparation activities including chopping, cooking, plating, and garnishing dishes
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations and dining areas
• Serve guests efficiently while providing friendly and attentive customer service
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods

Requirements

• Previous dietary department experience or dietary aide experience preferred
• Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling in a restaurant or culinary setting
• Knowledge of menu planning, meal assembly, and food safety standards
• Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques
• Experience in fine dining or catering environments is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
