Montalto Vineyard is a premium hospitality and wine tourism destination operating a restaurant, cellar door and events venue on the Mornington Peninsula. We are seeking an experienced Cook/Chef to join our professional kitchen team on a full-time or casual basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality menu items in a professional kitchen environment
• Contribute to menu development and seasonal menu planning
• Maintain food quality, presentation and portion control standards
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace safety standards
• Provide guidance to junior cooks and kitchen staff
• Support efficient kitchen operations during busy service periods

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ relevant commercial cooking experience
• Experience working in a professional hospitality kitchen
• Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen operations
• Ability to work a flexible roster including weekends and public holidays

Salary

Competitive Salary commensurate with skills and experience.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
