Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Cook to join our team! In this role, you will need basic knowledge of basic methods of food preparation (mixers, slicers, ovens). Solid, practical knowledge of everyday cooking techniques, food preparation, and following recipes. Strong baselikne knowledge of kitchen sanitation, safe food storage, and proper food handling practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food industry roles such as restaurant cook, dietary aide, or catering assistant with a focus on food preparation and safety
- Knowledge of safety standards in food production environments and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with meal planning
- Ability to operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members
- Demonstrated culinary experience with a focus on food safety management and cleanliness standards
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 per week
Work Location: In person
