Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to menu specifications, ensuring quality and presentation standards are maintained
• Assist with menu planning and food preparation for various dietary needs
• Handle food safely and hygienically, adhering to all food safety regulations
• Support kitchen operations including cooking, food handling, and cleaning as needed
• Participate in catering events and special meal services
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas
• Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional service in fine dining or restaurant settings
• Ensure proper knife skills are utilized for efficient food prep and presentation
• Assist with meal assembly, plating, and serving to guests or residents

Experience

• Prior experience in dietary departments, dietary aide roles, or food service environments preferred
• Background in menu planning, food preparation, cooking, or culinary arts highly desirable
• Experience working in fine dining establishments or restaurants is a plus
• Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques required
• Skills in catering, serving, and kitchen operations are beneficial
• Familiarity with the food industry standards for quality and hygiene is essential
